I was asked by the Student Doctor Network to write an article for their winter 2021 publication. I interviewed three professional performing artists in the fall/winter of 2020 who returned to school later in life to pursue healthcare careers.

When the SLPD Class of 2020's March 20, 2020 graduation was cancelled due to the pandemic just days before they were scheduled to arrive on campus, I contacted the inaugural SLPD cohort (the Class of 2019) and asked them to send a video message to the Class of 2020. In less than 24 hours, I edited the videos to create a video message and sent it to students on the morning of what would have been their ceremony.

As a high school junior, I had the rare honor to earn a staff writer byline for the Daily Herald, the largest news organization in the Chicago suburbs. I wrote articles primarily for the "Neighbor" section, focusing on education, public interest stories, and entertainment.
